This was my first time ordering from Hot Peppercorn Asian Cuisine & Bar and it did not disappoint. The Spicy Kung Pao Chicken with Peanuts was fresh and flavorful, and I appreciated the generous portion. The fried rice was very good, too. Not greasy. The only thing that would have been better is that I ordered this dish extra spicy, and it was only a little spicy. Still, I'd order from this restaurant again. I should mention it's a little pricey.. It's worth splurging every once in a while.
4 stars.

Sweet & Sour Shrimp was solid! A reasonable portion and the sauce was packaged separately so that the fried shrimp didn't get soggy. The Szechuan Wonton in Hot Chili Oil(8) were flavorful and tasty. I felt that the Egg Drop Soup was a bit bland, however.

Beef w.Mixed Vegetable was plenty saucy and delicious with lots of veggies and the meat was nice and tender. the Crispy Shrimp Roll(2) were great and they come with a small container with plenty of sauce for 2 rolls. General Tso's Chicken was really good, although just a little more sauce would be perfect. Szechuan Wonton in Hot Chili Oil(8) was great! I really liked the wonton and the flavor of the chili oil just sits in your mouth for so long, you savor it for a long time. everything was very good, I will definitely order from here again!

I ordered the Roast duck over rice and it was delicious. Cheaper than other places as well. Most places charge more and don't even include rice on it. Favorited the restaurant so I can order from this place again.

I usually order the spicy fried pork chop combo lo mein here and it’s been my go-to for a while. This time I decided to mix it up and try the orange chicken… and unfortunately it just didn’t hit the mark for me.
The portion came with only one piece of broccoli, which was a little surprising. The bigger issue was the chicken quality. It seemed like a mix of dark and white meat with a lot of tendons, and several bites had me chewing and wondering where the actual chicken was. The texture just wasn’t great overall.
Honestly, I should have just gone to Panda Express for their orange chicken—I think theirs tastes better. I’ll be sticking with the pork chop combo lo mein if I come back.
