Today it was a complete miss. Baklava was stale, hot soup was poured into a thin plastic container that almost melted, so plastic for sure leached into the soup. And falafel sandwich contained very few falafel pieces, this super-large tortilla was half-empty. The only good thing was tabouleh.

Chicken Shish The amount of protein in the order was very low. Not worth the price. The taste was lacking authenticity. Mediocre
Hummus Taste was good. Not the best but not the worst. I definitely would order it again. Really basic dish.
Tabbouleh This was very disappointing. Dried herbs in this dish absolutely ruins it. Don't recommend it at all. Tastes of old. Trashed this coming out the box. Tried it and off it went.

Sultan Sherbet was good, very similar to Jamaica.
Gyro Wrap was disappointing, fries were pale and bland.
Chicken Adana Kebab was dry, I expected more protein so the price is high for what you get.
Overall was disappointed, maybe in person and fresh it could be better but delivery was not worth it.

I got a mixed grill and an order of tabouleh - the mixed grill was really good. The seasonings of the meats were nice and refreshing, the salad was good, too.It is advertised as coming with rice, but it actually came with some well seasoned bulgur wheat - a very nice surprise and definitely something they should advertise (and not only for food allergy reasons).
The tabouleh was mushy, bitter, drowning in liquid, underseasoned, and something i just couldn't finish despite my efforts to fix it. it just didn't taste fresh at all. i absolutely love tabouleh, but I couldn't finish this tabouleh. I hope this was a one off - i've ordered it here before and thought it was delicious.

Just really missed the mark for us. We have been searching for a gyro platter in Cary that gets the shaved meat right. Thought we found it when we saw the picture on Istanbul Restaurant but what we received looked very different. Tzatziki (Cacik) also was pictured as being so thick it could stand on a plate on a scoop, but in reality very very thin, had no "cling" and barely stuck to falafel. Hummus ok. Bread was delicious but this will not be a go to restaurant for us. Hate to leave negative reviews but tired of ordering from restaurants rated highly only to find they are mediocre.
