• 21/7/26We decided to take out from Chef Tai's Chinese Take Out tonight as I had heard great recommendations on their food.
We ordered the large size of Wonton Soup which was more than enough for the two of us in that it had 8 wontons and was yummy. I'd like to add that they were the best we've had in Florida! We are NY transplants and supposedly we are fussy about our Chinese food, I hear!? We then had two eggrolls - also excellent- and then our main dishes.
They were in large covered styrofoam to-go boxes, the type with compartments and it was loaded with food and HEAVY! No one could ever claim to be hungry after eating that.
We each had honey garlic chicken and fried rice as our main courses and we were sent two containers of the honey garlic sauce in case we wanted it more saucy.
Honey Garlic Chicken is what we order wherever we eat Chinese food. We both love it and we can really judge a Chinese restaurant by the way this dish tastes. At Chef Tai's This Dish Is A Winner!!! Best we've had in all the years we've been here. Definitely this takeout restaurant goes on our rotation!
As for pricing, I am so happy to say that I finally found an affordable place for great chinese food! We DoorDashed it and the food was at our door in Delray within 30 minutes of ordering it! We are soooo pleased with everything about Chef Tai's Chinese Take Out. We plan on becoming "regulars" right from the start.

Really great tasting and flavor in every dish .
The four seasons was the best. My wife even loved the chix & rice soup over all other local rivals.
We are hooked.

• 5/9/25I didn't like seeing big pieces of chicken I'm used to seeing them very small especially from this location. it's just not what I'm looking for when I spend $51 for dinner for two. The chicken actually seemed completely different it had a different taste entirely than it usually does.

• 22/5/24This is our first time to try this restaurant and we are very picky... However, Chef Tai did not disappoint!
The Rice is fluffy, not wet or clumped . Plenty of extra soy sauce, duck sauce and mustard was included...
The Spring Rolls (2) are lightly fried with a thin delicate wrap that have the perfect veg crunch bite.
The delicate Shrimp Egg Roll disappeared (because I hid it from my roommate and devoured it!).
The Chicken with Cashew Nuts with all white meat had perfectly sized small-chopped fresh veg that was delicious!
This is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants around and travels well for delivery with DoorDash!

• 12/11/25Chicken with cashew nuts had more celery and carrots than chicken or cashews. The flavor of it and the fried rice was extremely bland.
