The greatest poutine in town can be found at this neighborhood snack bar!
Poutines, Burgers, Burger Steaks, Fish & Chips, Hot Dogs, Pogo's, Fries, and Drinks are some of our specialties.
Good food, good prices.
Is it fancy? No.
But it doesn't need to be. It lives up to its name - it's a casse croute. Casse croutes are intended to be the kind of place you stop by for a bite when with friends.
It's very simple food. Flavors you know and recognize. A nice comfortable meal, made the Montreal way.
But it's executed delightfully well.
The hotdogs were as classic as it gets - just good old steamies. If you've spent your childhood in Quebec, you'll recognize everything you love about em.
Poutine was a generous portion. Unlike a lot of places, sauce wasn't overwhelming - it tastes like it's meant to complement the dish, not to be the star of the show.
Chicken burger was uneventful in a good way. Didn't taste oily like a lot of places. Just a solid sandwich.
Same goes for the burger.
Onion rings though? You owe yourself to try them - they're easily the best I've had in quite a while.
Overall - for an authentic, simple local eatery, definitely worth a stop.

Ordered a small poutine, and received a mini poutine, the order and site lists a small, the bill said it was a mini portion. For the price I paid, the portion was utterly laughable. Deceiving portion pricing.

Tout est bon sauf la poutine. En plus j'en reviens toujours pas du prix : 14$ pour une TRÈS PETITE poutine!
