One of the best ice cream spots in SF. There is a ton of variety to choose from, (so definitely check Yelp if you need pics) & they pack ice cream to the very top! You wont be disappointed ordering from here :)

Still the best after all these years.
The cookie dough and rocky road are still better than all the pretentious new spots. The price is right, the service is sweet and kind. It's nostalgic but it's also just still the core of happiness- sweet and friendly.
Will always be ordering again!

The Swensen's Rocky Road is good ice cream EXCEPT THE EXCESSIVE addition of far too many marsh mellows. The marsh mellows are overwhelming the taste of rhe ice cream and giving it is slimy surgery taste rather than chocolate and nuts as before. I've been a customer for 50 plus years so please go back to the original formula and spare the marsh mellows.

Delicious. The Bordeaux Cherry is addicting, but the orange and raspberry sherbet are yummy as well -- smooth, creamy and flavorful.
