Herb & Ernies is BOMB! We're new to Cove and have been looking for good locally owned restaurants, and this place did not, and has not, disappointed. The bacon is crispy everytime, waffles/pancakes/French toast are super stuffy and big, and they're customer service is amazing :)

It was the smallest portions & truly was not good. Very disappointing , I really wanted to like it but the steak had no flavor & the there was barely any hash browns & I got charged 6$ for the smallest portion of Macaroni Salad

I love everything about this place! Every time I order the food is hot and fresh and taste amazing! The only thing I would add about the Funnel Cake Fries is more powdered sugar but they were still amazing! My kids ask for them all the time!

No fruit in French toast the picture has fruit, the eggs were over cooked on My Cousin Benny and it was only 2 half pieces of English muffin it said 2 English muffins and the saladwas just thrown in not seperated and didnt have walnuts in it. It was good but 100% not worth $13 we wont be coming here again.

Really really *want* to like this place but always falls short. :(
The $4 Fresh Fruit was actually half a cup of frozen strawberries & bananas - and half were frozen, the other half were rotten. The Uncle Darrell had half a chicken thigh on it but wasn't cut up or altered even at all - leaving me to shred it up to try and spread across the sandwich - which I noticed after my first bite was just spinach and tomato. The potato salad was fine. The Garlic Mashed Potatoes were close to being good, but tasted like just roasted garlic & potato - no salt nor butter nor creaminess or any kind. Adding seasonings, or at least salted butter, would improve the mash tenfold. Will try again in 6 months as I always do, but again, seem to have awful luck thusfar.
