Combo fried rice is fire, the pad see eew is freaking good. Sushi is fresh, gyoza are amazing. Pretty much everything on their menu is delicious

This is and has been one of my favorite restaurants forever! The Sushi Sashimi for One was so fresh and amazing. The fish was perfect. They always give so much food and the value is worth it. First time ordering the Tiramisu, it was phenomenal.

Each dish was bland, the pork Dumpling Soup was only 2 dumplings in a lightly onion broth. The dumplings had no flavor was just meat loosely wrapped up. Veg Tempura App also lack flavor, not very crunchy. And the Tuna Cucumber Roll was mid at best. Would not order again.

I don't normally leave bad reviews, but the portions were very skimpy, and not anything better than middle level quality. Even in today's crazy expensive food environment, this felt 2x the cost of what it's worth. The $14 Raw Ahi Tower was maybe 6 bites of tuna and mostly a 3 inch high rise patty,
compared to the $17 one at Tokyo Hana that is better quality and almost too big for me to finish. Definitely not going to order for here again.

The food is always good from New Basil Cafe, wheher you dine in or DoorDash. The Angry Dragon Roll is my new favorite, with the shrimp tempura and GOOD avocado in the roll and the lobster salad and masago on top...WOW! And they send chopsticks and plasticware, as well as packets of pretty good soy sauce. Have to add my own coarse sea salt to the Edamame but that's not a big deal. Their wasabi is HOT, so be cautious at first!
