I ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo, which comes with egg, beans, and cheese, then I added bacon, potato, and sausage. The burrito was big with ample ingredients in a balanced quantity. The potatoes were chunky and the beans were whole, not refried. They cut the burrito in half for easier eating. I poured a little of their sauce on each bite. Both the red and green sauces were tasty and of a medium spiciness. I thoroughly enjoyed it all.

La Texanita is a hidden gem. Don't let the gas station (and it is a nice gas station) location dissuade you. I type this as I nom on my delicious, large, Quesadilla with Meat . Like, large, chunky, tender peices of chicken that taste fantastic.
I paid over $20 for a chicken sandwich at a sit down restuant, just down the street, yesterday and it was paper thin and stringy.

9/10 food would recommend, amazing portion size, above average flavor, warm and soft tortillas, I just wish they had more of the red sauce and a bit less onions.

The carne asada burrito was ok, very dry but not horrible. But the Torta Hawaiana was disgusting. the chicken was very chewy stringy dark meat almost like jerky and there were mushy hotdogs in it for some reason. I really never leave bad reviews but this was really a terrible experience especially for the price. Would expect decent food for $35 for a torta and a burrito
