I've just recently moved here to Ahoskie,NC and I tried "New China"for the first time not knowing how the food would taste, and didn't regret it.The food is always fried to perfection, nice and crispy, very flavorful, and always hot and fresh. The egg drop soup is by far my favorite item from this restaurant.

Everything is so delish that I order it over and over. The chicken is tender and sweet and the egg roll has a homemade straight from the garden taste. i highly recommend both!

So I ordered the combination with fried shrimp, rice and shrimp flaming with beef rib tips never had before I thought I'd try them. You can look at the plate here and say half of it was nothing but rice had only four shrimp in it. The shrimp lo mein was laid over top of all the beef tips so there wasn't a whole lot of it in that only had four shrimp. I don't know what's going on with new China, but this is like the third time I've ordered and wasn't happy with what they've sent out. What do you see in the picture is what I threw in the trashcan. The beef tips were dry. Hardly had no taste and it was too much rice for not much lo mein so I ate the lo mein through the rest out. What a waste.
