Are you seeking for a restaurant that serves authentic Italian cuisine? Do you want something cheesy and tasty, prepared fresh to order? Mama's Pizza and Pasta is the greatest in Matthews, North Carol…
Very, very good! Had a nice mix of flavor that wasn't the same as other alfredos I've had. Only negative at all is they didnt give me utensils or napkins so, being in a hotel, that definitely complicated things. The quality, though, still earns it 5 stars.

Food was bland. Except for Garlic Knots (3) which was over seasoned with too much rosemary and not enough garlic. Chicken Parmigiana was not crispy and Eggplant Parmigiana was soggy. Pasta was not al dente. Was hoping for more authand and less "OliveGarden" - disappointing for the price taste wise but portions were good.

The Mama's Feast was okay, but not worth the price. The spaghetti noodles were too soft and the meatballs lacked seasoning. The chicken parmesan was decent. The lasagna was a great portion size, but not the tastiest. The Garlic Knots (6) were delicious though. Mama's is good, but next time I'll stick to the fettuccine.

This place used to be amazing. The last two times have we have ordered we have been disappointed. This portions have change drastically. My husband orders the vodka penna with fried chicken and honestly it was tiny piece of butterfly chicken it was comical. My past was watery and bland. The only thing that's has lost its gusto has been the meatballs. I expected better for two entree for $80.

The noodles were a good size and good texture, but the sauce was extremely salty, and I like my food salty. But it was painfully salty. Maybe it was just the particular cook today, but disappointing given its $25. If it wasn't so salty, it would probably be 5 stars. I also took another star off because at $25 for a dish with no meat, I think a salad or a couple of garlic knots or both, should for sure be included - like basically every other Italian place. If you're a grown man, or very hungry, this likely won't fill you up. Won't be able to justify spending $25 on 5 raviolis again.
