Very overpriced and generally extremely dry and disappointing. Makes you wonder, these people clearly know what they are supposed to be making but either don't care to make it match the flavors these dishes had in Turkey or they are just completely unable to because of lack of proper ingredients or something. Everything is a shadow of what they would be in Turkey, or a very distant memory. 0% chance that they know what they are putting out is not on par with anything you'd have even in the worst Turkish restaurant in Turkey.

In all honesty the food was pretty decent. It just wasn't anywhere near appropriately priced for portions and quality. I suppose if I was inside of a stunningly esthetic space and both the service and platings were equally gorgeous AND was able to have an alcoholic beverage for each of the two people, nearly TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS would feel slightly more reasonable. Our order was as fallows...1 Veggie Moussaka ($33!), 1 Chicken Shish Kebab entree ($29), starter of Falafel ($15), 1 order Hummus($14), House bread($1.50) Pita($1.50). Tipped I think 20%. So yeah...if you can afford to pay a hundred and eighty something dollars for two people to have starters, making dishes and some dip...then I can't complain about the quality of the food. The Veggie Moussaka was not the best I've ever had if I'm very honest...it's the ind thing I'd say the quality was average if that. Meh.

the urfa kebab was very dry and tasted stale. I could barely have a third of it.

Love this place. Genuinely fresh and delicious. And generous portions.
