Every was absolutely delicious! The kabobs were super flavorful, the Grilled Tomatoes were cooked to perfection, the hummus was rich and creamy and the shirazi salad was extremely fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic flavors, portion size and price point.

I had several friends over, and of given that Maman Joon is my go-to-place for when I have guests over, I decided to order from them again. I ordered the following: Family plater 7 to 8 people, Comes with 6 skewers of kabob/ BBQ ground beef, 2 Beef Chenjeh kabob, 2 Chicken breasts Kabob, with rice, pita, grilled tomatos and red onion for 7-8 peopl and 6 sides of your choice : must-o-kheyar, Kashk O Bademjan, Dolmeh, Must O Mooseer or humus (see the description of each on appetizer menu), Saffron Salmon, and Baklava. The portion size of the side dishes and dessert, as well as the kebab itself was fantastic. As always, the food was very fresh and the tastes divine.

The portion size of the side dishes, as well as the kebab itself was fantastic. As always, the food was very fresh and the tastes divine.

If you're from north of Iran, you are familiar with Ashpal, aka fish roe. I have some in my freezer and I was craving it really badly and the best way to eat it is with kabob, so I decided to order some from
Maman Joon, because I love the quality of their kebabs. I ordered Combo # 2 Comes with one skewers of kabob/ BBQ Beef Chenjeh and one ground beef kabob, your choice of rice or salad comes with grilled tomato & onion, ½ pita and must-o-kheyar (cucumber yogurt sauce) and Maman's Lamb Kabobn's Lamb Kabob, which I thought would last me two meals because I can't eat it all in one go :). I love the portion size, which you do not see in this photo. There's still some kebab and rice on the side. I just took what I thought I could eat, which was still a lot and I did in fact not eat it all, which works out well, because I can extend my cheat meal to two cheat meals ;) Also, as I mentioned earlier, I like the quality of their kabobs, as well as the taste. The meat is really fresh and goes really well with my fish roe and kimchi (lol does anyone else eat kimchi with their kabob, because I do - it's like torshi but Korean), creating that perfect taste buds experience! I would definitely order again, as I've done so in the past.

Unfortunately my rice was overcooked so I was not pleased with my combination since I had more rice than Lamb Kabob (1 skewer of chunks of lamb) . And the Dolmeh taste bad, not fresh at all, was disappointed.
