I lived in Japan for 6 years.
I miss the food so much.
Since I move to NOLA, I've tried many Japanese restaurant's here.
No offense to any other eatery here, but , this place is the most authentic I have found.
The ramen and the small dishes are yummy, and it's the only restaurant I've found that does Pork Katsudon.
The rest only do chicken, when pork IS the traditional choice.
And they do both Katsudon AND katsu.
(they are not the same dish) .
I wish they might do an authentic Hiyashi Chuka for the summer time....? 🙏
Assorted Pickles AP are amazing and absolutely homemade.
Takoyaki(5) is Tokyo style, which is my favorite.
Wish you had okonomiyaki too...
In any case, thank you for yummy food.

It was the most nastiest bland Hibachi I ever ate! No broccoli all zucchini mushroom Chicken hard and Dry Rice taste like regular rice ! Threw it all away im starting to realize restaurants like this it's a must you sit dwn &eat 0/10

Sushi is consistent. Good. The Baked Salmon AP was overcooked. In the past I've had it and it melts in your mouth vs today it was crunchy and dry for the most part.
