I got too excited I forgot to take photos of everything else. It is worth the price if that is what shys you away from this place! Everything we ordered was FANTASTIC and packaged with care which is much appreciated. The Fresh Watermelon Juice was perfect to ease the spice from the Kadai Lamb Curry paired with the Garlic Naan. My boyfriend and I also split a lentil soup and vegetarian somosas. Then to finish off a Masala Chai and Gulab Jamun Creme Brulee everything was so good omg. And my boyfriend is super picky since he is from the east coast

Ashaa was absolutely amazing. This was our first time eating with them and it far exceeded our expectations, even beyond all the positive things we had heard. Portions were large and the food was hot and fresh, despite the delivery distance. This meal has stolen the number one spot as our favorite Indian place in KC! The Chicken Tikka was the most velvety creamy consistency and the chicken was so tender it melts in your mouth. The small plate Dosa was way larger than expected, but we were glad because we didn't have to fight over it:) the chai was perfectly spiced and just the thing we needed on a cool rainy day. 10/10 no notes. We will be trying more of the menu very soon!

It arrived in a beautiful branded bag, so I had high hopes. But the portion size was insane for the price. It was tiny. The spice level was decent, but the flavor was bland. Really bland. The worst part was the chicken. It was so overcooked and not tender at all. I’ve honestly never had chicken this overcooked at an Indian restaurant. For $20+ for the smallest portion of chicken tikka masala, I definitely didn’t expect dry, overcooked chicken. Yeah… not doing that again.

Absolutely delicious! We got the Masala Dosa(GF), Chicken Tikka Masala(GF,NF), Lamb Rogan Josh(GF,NF), and the CHAI SPICED CHEESECAKE and MANGO TIRAMISU for dessert. I've heard such good things about Aahaa and have been waiting to try it for months-- it did NOT disappoint! Even getting it takeout, it was warm and fresh. Portions were similar to most other Indian restaurants we've ordered from-- I'll have leftover Chicken Tikka Masala(GF,NF) tomorrow! If you're second guessing the Masala Dosa(GF), don't! Definitely will order again and again and again.

I recently ordered the Paneer Lollipop from Aahaa Modern Indian Cuisine through DoorDash, and it was a total hit! The packaging was super secure—everything arrived hot, fresh, and intact, which is rare with delivery.
The paneer itself was bursting with flavor—crispy on the outside, soft and juicy inside, with just the right kick of spice. You can tell the ingredients were top quality and made with care. It’s honestly one of the best vegetarian appetizers I’ve had in a long time.
Will definitely be ordering again. Aahaa knows how to do it right!
