The rice was undercooked and crunchy but the food was otherwise delicious. The chicken and dumplings were especially good.

Grits and pulled pork had no flavor. Spicy chicke sandwich was so spicy there was no other flavor. The portion sizes were large. Meals could be shared. But the cost was prohibitive for such low flavor profiles.

Chicken and dumplings were all liquid and almost no dumplings or chicken. It was bland and what little bits of "dumplings" had a terrible texture.
The collards were awful. It was the only thing heavily seasoned and the flavor was not in the realm of any collards I've had in my life. The potatoes and squash were bland but edible.

This pork sandwich had no taste. Full of water. Bread soggy and I spit it out with the first bite. Beans are good. But this was not what they said it was. They don't make this in house. It had no seasoning. Would never recd this place.

Joyce's Chicken-N-Dumplings was just ok, chicken was lacking and overall flavors just not fully developed or seasoned well. Portion size a little small.
"Lousiana" Red Beans and Rice was a little heavy on heat but overall average. Decent portion size.
Premium Sides Mac and Cheese was alright, a little dry.
