really liked the Mr Muffin and loved the fries as well. i have a severe allergy to dairy and usually can't eat fast food - this place did a great job and i didnt feel weighed down in the same way i used to feel with chain fast food. great food here!

i ADORE mr charlie's! every time i come back to SF, i make sure to eat there. i always get the Not Chicken Nuggets with S&S sauce plus some kind of burger (today, it was Mr.Chuck) -- and they never disappoint! if you're tired of healthy vegan food and you just want to hold a greasy, delicious burger in your hands again, mr charlie's is for you.

As a meat eater, I wanted to see if meat substitutes were getting better enough to switch over. The Not a Hamburger needs to be seasoned more. It also lacks aroma and juiciness. 2/5. The Mr.Muffin Deluxe however was much better! It has that hint of spice smell like actual sausages and the cheese from both was pretty consistent. The portion was also bigger than the "hamburger." And the texture and mouth feel was spot on. Overall 3.5/5 for the whole meal. I could see myself having breakfast here, but not lunch.

I'm almost mad I got this.... cuz I'm not gonna be able to stop thinking about my Frowny Meal! It cam me to me still warm and oh-so-reminiscent of the OG. But this tastes better and feels better AND I'm pretty certain it also costs better... With a 2 for 1 deal I ended up with a whole sampler platter of Charlie's wares, and it's all been spot on delicious. I'm def down with this clown.
