7. Yesbeg Tibes (Stir Fried Lamb) was a large portion of super delicious food! Very spiced but not too hot. cabbage was cooked well and still had a nice crunch. potatoes and carrots were good--very plain and simple but tasty.

The vegetarian combination plate is wonderful. Great way to try a variety of dishes, plus fewer dishes are spicy hot than the meat dishes tend to be. Compared to the other 2 Ethiopian restaurants in the area I have tried, which also have very tasty food, Abyssinian has much more variety for the same price. This will be 2-3 meals for me.

When my taste buds say "it's time to go Home Baby", I go to Abyssinia Ethiopian...I ate everything that they offered on the buffet!...Flavorful Veggies, Delicious Meats, Fragrant Breads and Refreshing Teas!...It Was All Great!!...Made me want to visit "The Home Land" just to eat!...but with Abyssinia Ethiopian right here, no need to travel!...😉👍💐

Abyssinia has been one of my very favorite places ever since it opened. It's homemade delicious Ethiopian food. They have an amazing array of vegetables which is nice for me because I'm a pescatarian. The ground spicy tilapia is not to be missed if you are interested in fish! They transform which is typically a fish that's not very tasty. Abyssinia however in the whole new level of a taste the light. Absolutely every single vegetable they sell is cooked to perfection. And you have so much of it you can't believe that they can provide all that food for so little money.. I am an over order of my husband and myself so we always have about two or three days worth of Abyssinia in the fridge that we eat during that time period.
