Smashed N Fried never misses. The burgers are always cooked perfect with those crispy edges and the fries are seriously some of the best around. Everything tastes fresh and comes out hot every time. Staff is always friendly and the food is consistently good. Easily the best burger in the city of Pittsburgh. Also the portions are absolutely massive so you get your moneys worth !

The fries were okay, and the actual SMASHED 'N FRIED™ BURGER itself was decent. If anything, it was a bit salty which made it impossible to taste the sauce. I don't think $22.10 is an acceptable price for a single portion. Probably won't order again as there are many alternatives which are better in both price and quality, like Five Guys.

The FILET 'A FISH SANDWICH was great. The SMASHED 'N FRIED™ BURGER was hit or miss with every bite. Some bites were excellent, others had way too much pepper (and even pieces to be what I assume are peppercorns), that overwhelmed every other flavor. Back off on the pepper. The ADD SIDE SMOKED QUESO was pretty mid. The fries were good. Everything, especially the queso, was tremendously overpriced. $5.50 for a small ramican of queso?

Gave me chicken fingers instead of the mac & cheese and queso I ordered. Chicken fingers were bland. Food could be better, I had to add sauce and seasoning.
