This could've been higher but the Achik Gusht was inedibly dry. Just badly overcooked and probably the wrong cut of beef for the dish. The samosa was good stuff as usual but once again the beef was on the overcooked side -- over there it was saved by being ground beef in a brothy juicy filling. Now the Polov though, really warm and homely, generous portion, and the lamb was not overcooked. The Olivier and Suzma were nice touches of freshness that I appreciated -- can actually have the Olivier by itself as a meal next time because the portion was quite sizable. Overall decent, simple, homely, and filling...but nothing spectacular.

I think this place substitutes in whatever they have, I got carrot salad instead of the Suzma, and DD didn't reflect the change until after the food was delivered.
But the carrot salad was very tasty, there's def something in it besides just olive oil and dill.
The goulash was tasty but there was 0 sauce, just a splash of jus in the bottom of the dish (which is why I wanted the Suzma...but I'll try it again..
Bread came ice cold, but a few mins in the toaster oven revives it well.

First time trying Uzbek cuisine, quite tasty. Very interesting mix of Eastern European, Middle Eastern and Asian flavor.
The Somsa/ Samosa, Goulash - Savory Beef Stew and Olivier - Potato Salad were particularly good!

I orderd Kazak Kebab, I got plov instead. I orderd the bread, got an old dry bread. they are no longer reliable and upto the expectation. It was my favorite halal restaurant, but their service going bad and I have to look for another restaurant.
