A little disappointed in the portions as it looks more like a pick 2 than pick 3 as I ordered double pork, but only got a single portion. The mac and cheese was more like Mac with a little cheese and great seasonings, but it tasted really good. I wish I could have gotten more sauce, but the options don't let you double up on sauce. The waffle fries are great! Overall delicious!

I got the Pick 2 with double smoked pulled chicken with the collards and ceasar salad sides. The Smoked pulled chicken was the best I've had in Charleston. Most tender chicken around. The collards tasted like true southern food. This is my favorite place to get BBQ! Also ordered the chicken quesadillas and they were delicious.

This time my order was absolutely terrible. Everything was overdone and dry. The portion was so small for the pork belly. I took a bite of the sausage and it was so dry I had to spit it out. It crumbled in my mouth. This is a complete 180 change from the last time I ordered. For $38 I don't think ill ever risk this place again.

The brisket cheesesteak was really disappointing. Very dry, tough, burnt brisket, and there were barely any onions or peppers on the sandwich. Plus there was too much salt and pepper, with a complete lack of other flavors present. In addition, they didn't pack the bbq sauce, and the macaroni and cheese was good, but cold. The only real highlight was the peanut butter pie. Overall a waste of money. This was my first time having food from Southern Roots, and I'm not sure if I'll be giving them another shot.

Baby Back Bites were really amazing! The rub and sauce drizzled on them was the bomb. Definitely could've order a double order for those. Side Collards was a very small side to be honest, but tasted good and had a kick to it.
