Wow, wow, wow. Every dish I try is better than the last. While it's not the cheapest place to eat, I think it's a bargain for high quality Cambodian food, which to my knowledge, has not been accessible in Wichita previously.
I've been working my way through the Khmer menu. Here are my thoughts for today:
Now I know why Nhom Banh Juk is an iconic dish. While I enjoy fish and fish stews, I have to admit I've been reluctant to try it even though I've added it to my cart repeatedly for weeks. It's my new favorite. I ordered it this morning for breakfast, as I read is the typical meal for which it is served. I prepared half of it and was satiated. The "broth" is sort of a catfish gravy with fine bits of meat and the aroma of coconut milk. Not at all overwhelming as some fish dishes can be. Paired with the rice noodles, fresh herbs, fried shallots, bean sprouts, lime, and some kind of small but potent chile, it was an outstanding combination of textures. I finished the broth happily, and can't wait for seconds later.
The iced coffee I have been unable to resist. If you're a fan of Vietnamese iced coffee, you'll love it. It has not missed once. I order it every time.
This place is a culinary gem and a delight to patronize. Looking forward to eating in one of these days. The consistency and variety make the prices well worth it.

The ONLY place in Wichita that actually makes Vietnamese egg rolls with RICE PAPER! Their house egg rolls are really good - a high compliment considering I've grown up eating authentic Vietnamese egg rolls. I actually almost forgot to take a picture of them first, as you can see in the photo. The order comes with three. LOL!
Their cheese wontons are ok. They're a little too onion-y to me, but that's my taste. The wonton wrappers are also a bit tough.
The vermicelli bowl is excellent! Generous servings, fresh veggies, flavorful meats, perfectly cooked. My favorite!
The same can be said of their pho. The broth alone is flavorful and you can smell and taste the aromatics (star anise) plainly. The meat servings again, very generous and the veggies and herbs are fresh.
All in all, they're a GREAT replacement for Saigon Bistro (that used to be where they are). They have certainly earned MY business when I want Vietnamese food and feel too lazy to make it myself. Definitely will order again.

First time trying the brisket pho. Pho was very well packaged and the Broth was very delicious. The brisket did have a lot more fatty pieces than I prefer but still very delicious. Will definitely order again!!

Food was great and portions were good, but I am very upset I only received one spring roll when paid $7 for two. .
