My favorite takeout Indian food in San Francisco. Don't miss the saag paneer and the butter chicken. Both are brimming with flavor. Chicken is fresh, juicy, and not at all dried out (like Rose Indian is in my experience). Incredibly fast service if you live in Castro, Glen Park, Noe, etc. Yummm!

Everything was delicious, fresh and beautifully spiced. Saag Paneer is perfect, not too rich and really well balanced; Samosas stayed crispy even after a few hours in the fridge! Only complaint is the pieces of chicken in the Butter Chicken Masala were tiny, more like shreds. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants available on DD.

This was my very first time trying indian food so I did my research on what to order and I decided on the chicken tikki masala, basmati rice, garlic naan & samosas. It was seriously so good! It had a decent amount of chicken and so much of that lovely sauce! What I ordered was definitely enough for two people. I am so happy I chose this restaurant cause it exceeded all the expectations I had in my head of what Indian food would be like. It tasted home cooked with lots of love!!!

Ordered lamb shank but it was bad. the meat was dry and hard. It was really not what I expected. The lamb biryani however was good. so was the mango lassi. portion wise the Biryani had a lot of meat and enjoyed it but I don't know how the soft tender fall off the bone lamb shank became hard chewy and dry piece of bone on Jerky.

The naan bread was still warm when it arrived and was very fluffy. The chicken tikka was a pretty standard sized take out container, but does NOT come with any rice or bread unless ordered on the size. The samosas hit the spot but not the best ive had.
