The portions were sizeable, the temperature was still hot, and taste was good. The Wor Wonton Soup 馄饨汤 was filling. Wontons were large, had the clear broth and napa cabbage that I like. The Chinese Cabbage With Black Mushroom 绍菜冬菇 was savory and the crepes adequate. The stir fried green Sauteed String Bean 炒四季豆 and Chinese Cabbage With Black Mushroom 绍菜冬菇 were delicious. I would order again: good portions, filling, temp, and taste for the price.

Always amazing, the portions are huge, as a single person, the House Special Lo Mein and the Mu Shu Pork 木须肉 last for dinner, lunch and even a midnight snack. You can tell it's all freshly cooked, arrives hot and PACKED with meat

wor wonton soup: 5/5
amazing value. hardly any liquid, just crammed full of goodies. wontons doughy and a bit tasteless, but still worth it. haven't seen any shrimp yet, come to think of it, but would order again.
walnut shrimp: 1/5
good portion but that's the only nice thing i can say. yucky doughy fried shrimp, missing the classic sweet mayonnaise dressing. a few walnuts, without the honey glaze.
mu shu pork: 3/5
just ok.

Roasted Duck 烤鸭 was tasty. Meat was moist. Yang Chow Style Fried Rice 扬州炒饭 was also delicious. I thought there would have been more vegetables like broccoli or mushrooms but it was peas, carrots, shoots and onions plus pork shrimp and I think chicken. Portions are good. There's enough for 2 meals or to share. Will order again for sure.

I grew up on Chinese food in and around NYC and when I'm in the mood for it Canton Low really hits the spot. Super fresh, big portions, great soups, great orange chicken. A gem in ES.
