• 27/12/24The St. Louis Style Smoked Pork Ribs were EXCEPTIONAL, the potato salad was FIRE, a them greens had such a different flavor I loved them. Muffin was moist and soft. Overall it was top notch!! Bama sauce was tangy and full of flavor!!

• 8/1/25The Lunch Box is an absolute STEAL. The amount of BBQ and overall food you get for the price is hands-down the best bang-for-buck of all the BBQ spots on DoorDash in SF. The BBQ was great. The rib was ever so slightly overcooked but the smoke flavor was spot on and I feel on a different day it would be even better. Even the darn Caesar salad was crisp with a nice thick dressing. The corn bread was good, not great but solid. The potato salad was PERFECT. Great taste, seasoned well, proper texture. I would buy that by itself. But the beans... unevenly cooked and a bit bland and a little dry. Yikes. It is obvious care and effort was put into every part of the plate. (except the beans?). I'll be a repeat DoorDasher for the Lunch Box. Oh, the Potlikker Greens were too vinegary but still solid. If they cut back the acidity just a bit it would be amazing.

• 3/2/22Not as advertised. It was not a whole chicken, barely half and only the driest cuts. The rib tips were basically all bone. The slaw was basically pepper with no other flavor. All in all not great value and completely missed expectations.

• 29/11/24I got the Two way combo and let me tell you the portion sizes were comically small. The brisket was like half a portion size and dry. The mac n cheese tasted like kraft like not even kidding and was literally a tiny slightly larger than a sauce container portion. The fries were half decent but the only silver lining was smoked fried chicken was actually the only thing that was good but even the portion was very small. Overall, I would never order from here again and it's very much a sorry excuse for a bbq joint.
