Ruby May's has been top notch every time I've gone there. So far I've only had their breakfast and it has exceeded my expectations every time. Their food is always hot, fresh and it seems to be cooked to order.
Ruby May's chicken fried steak is the best I've ever had, hands down. I've left full as can be every time I've eaten there and the price is more than reasonable. Staff is friendly, relaxed and quick to notice if you need a refill of your coffee or your table cleared.
I've only ordered once through Doordash but it was all still hot and fresh and delicious.
I've still got to try their lunch menu! I've been eyeing it for a while and if their breakfast is any indication, their lunch/dinner menu will slap too. I love these guys. Thanks for coming out Louisville road, I hope you guys see this. Keep it up.

Country Fried Steak was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. White gravy was seasoned well. Cherry cobbler was excellent. I was very pleased with the entire order. Will definitely order from here again!

The green beans mashed potatoes were not good at all. It tasted like old grease in the beans and I don't know what was wrong with the potatoes. The blackberry pie was greasy as well. I won't go back again. CD

This was our second time ordering from Ruby May's and we were beyond impressed again. The hash brown casserole is excellent. The selection is so vast, I want to try it all! My only suggestion, which has nothing to do with the food quality, would be to write the descriptions for each dish rather than have AI fill in, because many are vague or incorrect. For instance Poe is listed as having beans and pico de gallo. Definitely give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.
