Shu House always has delicious food. Their standard Chinese American fair is good, but their Taiwanese dishes are extra special.
This time we had Pork lo mein and Wontons in Chili Oil. The chilli oil they make is absolutely delicious and it pairs well with the Wontons. Some restaurants make the wonton dough very thick. Shu House doest do that, it is thin without being messy.
The lo mein was also really good. The wok hei in the dish really makes it extra special.

I have been ordering from Shu House for many years. They always package the food very well especially the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. As you can see from the photo the soup is packaged separately in a plastic bag to prevent spillage.
While they are probably more known for their Sichuan spicy dishes, their Taiwanese food is authentic and tastes really good.
My family and I appreciate the quality of the food that we get especially when we are craving Taiwanese food.
Their portion sizes are plentiful and the food is fresh, obviously we would order again.

The Dan Dan noodles were delicious and a good size portion. Unfortunately, the Kung Pao shrimp was just average. The sauce was watery, flavorless and had way too much celery. There were lots of chilis but no heat at all. Also, the shrimp was breaded so it was soggy and unappealing. I hate to write this because I love Shu House!

THIS is the new spot. Every single thing I ate was freakin delicious fresh flavorful-- even if you're outside of the delivery radius (like me) pay the extra few bucks and treat yourself so you can be happy (like me)
oh and idk if they do this promotion all the time but if you spend $20 add the dan dan noodles for FREE (!!!?!) it was so much yummy noodles

Ordered Chong Qing Wonton Soup restaurant substituted Wontons in Chicken broth which was good but not what I ordered. Restaurant did not adjust bill $2 but it's the point.
Pumpkin Rice Noodles with Shredded Pork very tasty. Noodles had same texture as glass noodles which I love.
Crisp Spicy Cucumbers were just meh.
