The "salsa" is just a large bowl of pico - not salsa. I got a Barbacoa Tacos for $6.32 and the shell was so thin the whole taco fell apart as soon as I picked it up. It was 60% cilantro - way overloaded. Thats all you can taste. There wasn't much else for flavor and def not worth the cost. I was hoping to find a good taco place. I'll keep looking.

Portions were fine and everything seemed reasonably fresh. Rice and beans badly needed salt and generally had an off flavor. The queso with chorizo was grainy like it had been cut with flour like a broken béchamel sauce. The steak burrito was passable. Honestly a pretty bad meal. I would not order again. There are better places in the Seacoast.

The churros were good. The taco salad was just a big heap of stuff that had no real flavor or distinction. I used to really like Locos. This is my 2nd bad experience. I am moving on.

tamales are DRY, loads of masa to make them look big but only a sprinkling of filling, & its poorly seasoned. Chips & cheese is burnt cheese stuck to the top layer of chips, the chips are nasty and super greasy.

I am from Arizona and it's really difficult to find GOOD Mexican-fusion cuisine in the Northeast but Loco Coco's checks all the boxes and takes me back HOME. Empanadas are a great go-to. Honey Chipotle and Spicy Roasted Salsa are heavenly.
