Excellent service from start to finish! I haven't been to Saltgrass in quite a few years because it used to be loud and we couldn't hear each other. This time, it seems the restaurant has undergone some changes as even though it was moderately busy I could visit with my family without echoes in the restaurant. We were warm welcomed to the restaurant upon arrival and seated in a comfortable booth.
Our server, Mekeba, made us feel right at home. He is extremely attentive making sure we never ran out of beverages, bread, and making sure all food was to our satisfaction. Mekeba also was kind with friendly conversation.
The wow factor was having the wine sommelier find a perfect red wine to accompy the Maudeen's center-cut filet. I wish I remembered which red blend it was but it was perfect. Not too sweet or dry.
And my sincerest compliments to the chef! My steak was truly cooked medium. At other restaurants, I am disappointed as it is off and usually rare or well done. Whoever the chef was working at 3:30pm on 11/04 I applaud you. The steak was perfect and melted like butter as I enjoyed it. (Other steaks are tough to use with a knife whereas this one no problem)
The tortilla soup was full of vegetables which makes it a unique stand out compared to other places. This is my new favorite soup.
Keep up the EXCELLENT service and whoever the manager is, this restaurant has TEAMWORK from start to finish. Bravo!

My chicken fried steak was tough and had so much crust and very little meat. Very deceiving.
And I didn't get any bread. The quality of eating in and ordering out is totally different. Barely any cheese on my baked potato.

Kids ribs & fries, bland fries- had to use ketchup, ribs were more bones than meat
Chicken fried steak, not sure if steak or gravy but way too salty.
Expecting melt in your mouth delicious,

We frequent Door Dash and Saltgrass is the one place that has always come through. Always accurate. Always fresh. The chopped steak and the queso are highlights. They always include bread. Appreciate the attention to detail. I don't leave feedback often but gotta give kudos where it's due:

Maudeen’s Center-Cut Filet was perfect! Cooked at medium temp and so flavorful and tasty, with a side of delicious, fresh green beans. Both were amazing. I opted for a Caesar salad and unfortunately it was not very fresh. It was browning and not crunchy for either entree. Also had the New York Strip dinner with Brussel sprouts and salad. The steak was cooked perfectly as well at medium rare, tasted amazing. I loved the dinner! The salads were a bust but otherwise still a delicious dinner.
