OMGosh!  They sent me a substitution and it was the hummus wrap!  One of the best things I've ever eaten!  

I also ordered the Build Your Own Pasta small and it was a great portion and delish.

The BEST pizza in the Carrollwood area.  Family owned, consistent, great customer service and even better food.  Been a customer of theirs for 8 years and am always happy with their pizza!

requested 'well done', pizza, really tasty for Town n Cntry! I was pleasantly surprised.not 'well done'. if they up graded to FRESH ingredients...this joint will become unstoppable! been in clCeegarCity since Dec. 1972, made pizza joint destinations a priority.. We've ordered from Pitza pizza 4-5 times and the results have been a bit mixed.  My most recent pizza was meatball and mushroom.  The crust was thicker than high quality pizza should be and a bit soggy.  Also, the pizza was over-cheesed and over-sauced, which both added to the sogginess of the crust.  The mozzarella used is decent quality at best and doesn't have positive flavor notes as it is quite bland.  Mushrooms continue to be canned which is disappointing.

I have ordered calzone 3 times and they were always excellent, BUT, be sure to add ricotta as one of your options as it makes the calzone much tastier and more authentic.  I would definitely order calzone again, just wish the mushrooms weren't canned.

I tried one of the Lebanese choices, PLAIN ZA'ATAR, and it was extremely salty.  Pitza pizza is a "one-off," small restaurant that we should all support and I will continue to try more things.  The owner is very nice and professional. They do make a thin-crust pizza, but I haven't tried it yet.

We have been customers for years and have loved the pizza however the past year things have changed. The pizza dough is burnt on the bottom but yet the dough is floppy. The flavor is still on point but the dough needs love. We need to crispy up the dough again.
