The Greek Spot is a fast-casual, family-owned Greek carryout + eatery located in the heart of the U Street Corridor neighborhood In Washington, DC. Inspired by our family's longstanding, go-to recipes…
I recently dined at this Greek restaurant and ordered the gyro platter, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion of meat provided. The gyro platter was not only delicious but also provided enough food to be divided into four servings, making it great value for money. However, I found the coconut cake to be a bit too dry for my liking. Nonetheless, it could be enhanced with a scoop of ice cream or a fruit topping. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and I would recommend this restaurant for its flavorful gyro platter. The delivery was quick.

I got the Pork Souvlaki Pita fresh from the grill into a pita. Very delicious, filling, and worth the price.

The soup had very little flavor. It also had a lot of stuff that traditional avgolemono soup doesn't have. The hummus did not come with enough pita.

Fries were good. Hummus was good. But the greek salad was practically all peppers and the mousaka had 0 flavor to it, which is surprising for all the different ingredients usually associated with it. Have to say I'll be sticking with the other Greek spots around town before ordering again.
