WELCOME to Frontera Tacos & Tequila, a family owned Mexican Restaurant that arises by initiative of 4 brothers from Unión de Tula, Jalisco, Mexico. Having its beginnings 25 years ago in the state of W…
Pleasantly surprised! I ordered the gordito burrito (steak option). It was late when I placed the order (just 1.5 hours until closing) and I half expected the food to be of lesser quality as is typical of late night orders (in general).
When it arrived, before I ever tried it, I felt immediate disappointment...but purely as a matter of personal preference because I don't like red sauce on my steak and I much prefer queso blanco to mixed cheese.
That said, I was pleasantly surprised when I took my first bite and every bite thereafter!
The food was fresh at 9pm - everything was seasoned perfectly, the steak was tender, the red sauce was flavorful and just the right amount/not too much, the guacamole was a beautiful green (no browning as would be expected so late in the day) and it tasted great!
This ended up being a really good, quality dish. I decided to write this review because I truly appreciate when a restaurant maintains the quality of its food to the closing hour and for deliveries.
Well done Frontera!

The compinion burrito is advertised as mushrooms, black beans and rice. There were no black beans. I love Frontera. Just disappointed in my birthday dinner. I'll always order again, but I'll go back to my favorite- Bombay Chimichanga. Portions are great and ingredients are always fresh!

This restaurant has kind employees. The service is somewhat slow at times. 4/5 for pickup or dining. The food is okay. The cheese enchilada (when it comes to take out) is almost inedible as it's not melty soft cheese like most enchiladas it was hard and couldnt even cut into it easily at all. On top was some creamy sauce and olives. Their relishes and salsas are really good. Side of slaw was delicious. Korean taco was tasy, but coildnt really pick up on Asian flavors let alone korean, which I was a tad disappointed about. If i was to blind taste test without knowing they were supposed to taste korean i wouldnt guess it at all even though the corn tortilla was good and veggies were fresh. Okay at best, 2.5/5 but i put 3/5 since half stars arent an option

Ordered a large bag of chips for $3.50 and was given a small order instead. (I have the receipt that says "1 chips small"). The salsa was basically spicy tomato water. My vegetarian enchiladas were *cold* even though I picked up the order, and on time! They were primarily stuffed with cauliflower too. I usually love eating here, so will give them another chance, but this was disappointing at best.

Border Nachos are burnt crispy, and half a box of not seasoned Seasoned Fries for $5. Too bad, used to be a date night regular.
