Kantine's commitment to representing Scandinavian baking approaches is steadfast and spot on. The sprouted rye loaf is just the kind of whole grain bread you would have on a breakfast sandwich, and the cinnamon knot (or kanelbulle) avoids the pitfalls of so many Stateside attempts by making is not too sweet. Outstanding.

I love Kantine! The egg sammich is delicious. The eggs are creamy and the bread is a cross between a croissant and seeded roll. But the yogurt bowl is my favorite. Chock full of interesting additions: nuts, seeds, jam, minted sugar. Highly recommended!

I reviewed Kantime back in September but it never got posted so I am posting again. The food is delicious but the portions are insanely small. The pictures are misleading. The pear Cardamom loaf is for maybe 2 ppl, but it looks like a regular loaf. The smoked salmon bowl is also tiny tiny. Again, the taste is great but I think they need to be more upfront on the portion sizes

the team at kantine packages things so nicely and their pastries are incredible. my personal favorite is the tebirkes, but my coworkers loved the cinnamon knot and morning bun as well. i highly recommend trying out the pastries here!!
