This is a must try. I can't drive by Tahoe without stopping here. It's very affordable for the area.
The empanadas are bursting with flavor and loaded with meat. They are also very filling. Two in one sitting is a lot of food. I recommend getting a few and sharing to try everything.
My personal favorites are the Beef'd Up and Breakfast.

Love this locally owned shop. Everything is delicious from the empanadas to the soup and desserts! The owner is extremely friendly and you can tell he is passionate about his restaurant and the quality of his food. He is always there making fresh homemade empanadas and frequently comes out from the kitchen to speak with his customers. The Baker's Dozen Special (Dozen) is a great value. You get 14 empanadas for the price of 12. Definitely enough to feed 7+ people, or have leftovers for a few days. My favorite empanadas are the breakfast, Namaste, and a hammer. I would definitely order from them again and highly recommend eating an Empanash!

Their empanadas are the best anywhere! So delicious. We could eat the every night. They also gave us a very generous helpings of extra golf and extra chimichurri sauce. The staff is super friendly! Try it!

OK, honest review from somebody who eats empanadas on a regular basis.... I can honestly say the beef up empanada was very authentic and had a good flavor, but the spicy hen house was just overrun by habaneros without any traditional flavor. The chimichurri was the perfect ratio so bravo because a lot of restaurants cannot get that right. I believe I would eat here again only for the beef up empanada, but it would only be occasional due to the price being more on the high side. Each empanada is approximately 8.50, but in reality, I would not charge more than 6 dollars for these. I hope this honest review helps

Highly recommend Empanash! Delicious food and friendly service. The Baker's Dozen Special (Dozen) is a great deal. You get twelve empanadas plus two empanadas for free and can choose your flavors. Our favorite empanadas are the breakfast, the hammer, and the popeye. We loved their chimichurri sauce so much we purchased the Chimichurri Sauce 8oz Jar and used it on our steak and salmon the next day. All seven people in our party loved the food! We will definately order from Empanash in the future.
