Bacalao (Saltfish) was fire. Didn't know what to expect, I read about how the portions were pretty small but I felt like this was just enough. Also, Considering I paid $15 (DD discount) definitely gotta run it back.

Honestly I'm very disappointed. The portions were really small for the price and the taste did not remind of me of Dominican food. As a Dominican in the west coast, I was hoping this would remind me of home but it doesn't. I've been to alamar before and this was not the quality I had dining in. The "Pernil" Roast Pork was dry and the Moro was super sticky. I wouldn't do take out again, I'll just do fine in

Spaghetti with camarones criollo (shrimp creole) and sausage is incredible. Dominican Rice Bowl has 3 ribs, 2 green plsntsins and plenty rice and beans. Large portions, delicious food, and got 25% off at lunchtime. Could have easily split a dish for a hearty meal.

The New Dominicano sandwich was delicious. Juicy and flavorful. The portions were generous. I was only able to eat half of half the sandwich. Loaded with meat and very filling. The tostones were fresh, crispy and tasty. Everything was well seasoned. Will definitely order again.

100% yummy and great lunch special - wow! The Dominican Rice Bowl with sofrito chicken thigh (bone-in!) - perfect portion of deliciousness!
