Al's always gets it right. That Big Beef is flavorful and consistently tasty even when I order it at 1:30 in the morning. The Large Hand Cut Fries are not too salty and have the right crispness. Definitely one of my go-to spots.

This is the smallest and most expensive versions of an Italian Beef and Chicago Hotdog in the whole city. Seriously dissappointed. I paid $20 for a "jumbo" sandwhich and it was smaller than a regular sandwhich at any other restaurant. The hotdog was small and chewy and was freaking $8 for the worst version of a Chicago Dog out there. Seriously go anywhere else. Low quality food at greedy prices .

I somehow finished all of these orders all by myself. Als beef sandwich is a true definition of Chicago Italian beef sandwich. And Italian sausage has a good charcoal taste as well

I no longer live in the area, but have raved to my husband about Al's for years. I was happy to find them on Door Dash after we checked into our hotel on a recent visit. The food was all just as amazing as I remember 😋
Al's has another lifelong fan in him by the way ❤️

Italian Beef is one of the city's best. Great French fries too. But they inexplicably never, ever put napkins in the bag. Which you are definitely going to need.
