Sadly, just visiting for the weekend from out of town, because this place would be high up on my list of favorites. The Greek Fries & the Hummus + Shawarma were so good. The portion sizes were huge, which I was not expecting at the price points. There was so much food, I ended up sharing with 2 other moms in our group. If we are ever visiting Joliet again, I definitely will be ordering again.

I got the cucumber and tomato salad (which was fresh and SO good!), the traditional gyro with kalamata olives, and a mint/ginger lemonade. One of the BEST lunches I've had in a long time! The pricing was good, ample portions for the money honestly, and everything was delicious. I'll be repeat customer for sure!

Absolutely delicious! My team and I order from here all the time. Great bang for buck. Generous portions. They also do their best to write everyone's name on their order when you do group ordering. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

I think I've ordered from Amba three different days out of this week... It's like this is all I ever want to eat anymore! Ive tried the chicken shawarma in a wrap, pita pocket, bowl... every time it is exactly what I wanted! The baba ghanoush is a very large portion, and our family still enjoyed it the next day. My kids are nuts over the Greek fries! Don't

I'm also trying to replicate the toom sauce at home because it's so delicious...
If you're considering Amba and you enjoy Mediterranean foods... they're definitely worth the try.
