All-Day Thali was delicious... every single dish was soo good & freshly made. Sambar 16oz was finger lick yummy ,we had even breakfast . I recommend this is a must place to taste Indian flavours

Opening up my food packaging was like an unpacking....like the videos we all have seen at one time or another. So, it's like this:
I ordered the thaali, right? Peering into the bag is like pulling out little trinket boxes, wondering what is in each. After I took out my dessert, there was a big side of rice, another little box of yellow rice, a yoghurt rice, 2 daals, one with a snack, one half-filled with the included dessert, one half-filled with some type of liquid which turned out to be lemonade, a surprise veggie - karela, and another yummy veggie - methi malai matter, a roti and some chutney. And that was that!
Although food is always good, and they include something extra every time with my order, where's my naan, where's my salad, my raita! The tiny containers were half-filled at most.....except for the rice.
Even my badam milk was only three quarters full, and it was pistacchio milk, not badam milk. Not cool.
Moral of the story: Don't order right around closing time....they tend to run out of food.

I ordered 1 1 Idly 2 Vada Pongal (or) Upma and Sweet - Pineapple Halwa ( 8 Oz ), which is a variation of regular halwa. The combo plate was great as usual....the sweet ginger chutney is really good; the upma today was prepared differently, which was good.
The Sweet - Sweet - Pineapple Halwa ( 8 Oz ), not so good....prefer the Kesari.

Iddly is really Hard & part of itis uncooked. This happened for 4-5 weeks in a row. Spoke to a lady the restaurant about this issue but she said they cannot refund on DoorDash. Too bad!! Also the quality of Iddly did not improve. Very disappointing!!
The aloo for poori is very spicy. The dahi vada is yellow in color & tastes a weird.

This is my first review ever on DoorDash. I ordered poori with aaloo many times here at Amrutha Vilas , I get aaloo with NO aaloo. Never had a dish like this anywhere :( . It is NOT Poori Aloo they should name it as poori with onion + water.
