Tried some new items and everything was great, as usual. The Shrimp & Fettuccine was perfect and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Not overcooked. As always the Bread Pudding was sooooooo good. Will try something different next time, until I have tried everything. Thanks for not disappointing. I love this place.

Cup Poblano Soup is delicious, no pepper, subtle lemon taste.Crab Cakes Superb. No fillers, pure crab, no overwhelming spice. Sauce is delicate, delicious. Will definitely order again. Great price, makes a complete light meal.

This was my first time, EVER, eating an actual fish, and not just crab, shrimp, or scallops! I've literally agonized over finding the "safest" way I could try eating fish, without worrying about it tasting "too fishy," & I want to say that Anayas Seafood was the PERFECT choice, for me! The flounder was so tender and flaky and juicy, but the garlic parmesan crust gave it so much flavor, and it didn't taste the slightest bit "fishy!" The crab cake was really good in flavor & crab composition, but a bit too spicy for me— which isn't on the crab cake/the chef; I'm just simply too white for that kind of spice lol. I'd still HIGHLY suggest it to anyone that likes crab & can handle a mild-ish amount of spice! The hushpuppies are also FANTASTIC!! Idk if it's a different kind of spice than the crabcakes, but I can handle the jalepeno hushpuppies a bit better, in small doses, and they were so good that I spaced them out, just so I could eat them all! Overall, I'm so happy that I chose Anayas as my first experience with fish— now, I'm not so scared of branching out, and I can't wait to try all the different (non-fishy) kinds of fish!

Overall: phenomenal. Cup Gumbo was smoky, flavorful, well-seasoned and obviously made in house. Poblano soup came as a side and was just as tasty (a bit like homemade broccoli cheese but instead of broccoli a really nice poblano flavor.
Seafood Trio was good. Oysters were good quality, but the fish and oysters were completely unseasoned as well as the breading. Otherwise it was crisp, fresh and delicious. Grilled Shrimp were well-seasoned and jalapeno hish puppies were very flavorful and had nice mild spice.
Husband really liked the cod, fish was fresh and grand marnier sauce was very good. He said his fries were unseasoned and just meh.
Kids K Chicken Fingers and Cajun Chicken Tenders were good, our boys were very happy with those.
Fried Pickles were AWFUL. They were sitting in a massive pile of oil, unseasoned, not crispy at all and on a bed of old nasty lettuce. Everything else was great so still 5 stars

Seafood Trio is so dang good. Big catfish fillets fried perfect, fried shrimp and oysters are so tasty. Hush puppies are hands down the best! We are a coastal family, we know good seafood. Anayas Seafood is better than Pappadeaux. There, I said it!
