Usually Arena fish and chips never let me down. Haven't had items from here in a while and wishing hadn't. Only ordered as prices seemed reasonable compared to other local fish and chip shops.... I guess you get what you pay for.... burger was terrible, chips boring and hotn jam donuts hard as a rock!

We ordered:
• Kids Pack 2 – $10.50
• Twin Pack – $42.70
• 2 × Mars Bar in Batter – $9.00
• 1 × Donut
Overall, the Mars Bar in batter, kids pack and donut were alright.
The main issue was the Twin Pack. Unfortunately, the flake was the worst I’ve ever had. It was very small and skinny, and unless the supplier changes, I don’t think I’d return.
The texture of the flake was extremely unusual. Some parts were so rubbery that I had to use my teeth and both hands to pull it apart. I’m not sure if it was freezer burn, poor handling, or a supplier issue, but it was borderline inedible.
I recently saw reports about some fish and chip shops in Australia selling “flake” that wasn’t actually gummy shark, and after trying this one, I honestly questioned the quality because the texture was unlike any flake I’ve had before. It was very chewy and rubbery, which made me wonder if it was a different species or simply an issue with the supplier. I’m not making an accusation, but it may be worth looking into because the quality was noticeably different.
I actually waited a few days before writing this review because I wasn’t sure if it was worth posting, but I feel people deserve to know about the experience.
The chips were okay, although they could have been cooked a little longer to make them a bit crispier. The dim sims and potato cakes were like what you’d expect from most fish and chip shops still tasty.
Hopefully the flake quality improves because the rest of the meal was decent.

The burger and chips wer amazing but def won't be reordering the donuts
They looked so good on app but hardly any jam sugar and def over cooked
