One of the best Reubens I've ever had. As good as any I ever got in New York. I'm so glad I work down the street from here because I will be a regular customer. Many items I can't wait to try! My order arrived hot, and was a very large sandwich.

They have the best deli sandwiches, especially the Reuben and turkey club. Also , the chicken soup is homemade, can taste the real chicken broth

Their homemade chicken soup has authentic broth, meaning that they cook a chicken to make it. Not processed like boullion.

Ordered chowder but it was substituted for beef chili, which would have been fine, if it weren't the worst chili i've ever eaten. It was like baby food purée instead of ground beef, with strange spices. Chicken soup was bland.

I had given up hope of finding the type of sandwiches I used to get in the Jewish delis around Boston and in New York. Today I got a Reuben from Avenue after a friend suggested them, and it's one of the best I've had in recent times in this area. Many of the delis I used to go to have closed, so finding Avenue, right down the street from my new job, was amazing! (I want to stress that they do not advertise themselves as a Jewish Deli, I'm just saying that if you like the kind corned beef and pastrami sandwiches you get in such a deli, I think you will really like this shop).
