I found Bamboo's food to be a step above the usual sushi offerings in the Portland area. I loved the Green Machine with albacore and seaweed fried rice. My husband and seemed to appreciate his meal, too.

Bamboo dragon was assembled poorly , falling apart and very mushy avocado and fish as if it got too warm. The spicey tuna roll had an overly fishy flavor. Usually get pretty fresh orders but this one was bad.

If the food was cheaper I probably wouldn't care but I paid $21 for an 8 roll as a special treat for myself and the avocado was brown. They've also changed their once god tier level good Spicy Aioli to a generic sauce. Really disappointing.

Disappointing! I am a big Green Machine lover, but this time it was flavorless and 99% rice and tempura. Not worth the price.

Took an hour to prepare (on a slow Monday). Way overpriced for the portion size. $12 for two bites of nigiri? Everything tasted good though.
