The Slow Cooked Pot Roast was excellent! Very flavorful and tender! The mixed green side salad with ranch was fresh and delicious! The cornbread and rolls are terrific and just like I remembered back when I used to go to Black Eyed Pea in NW Houston! I would definitely recommend this restaurant! Keep up the good work!

I ordered the beef liver and onions baked squash and turnip greens with Fresh Baked Peach Cobbler. My dasher got the food to quickly it was still hot. The liver cooked to perfection tender no irony taste. The baked squash and greens along with the liver is the food of my youth and was delicious. Peach cobbler fresh and on point. When I want down home soul food this is my place.

Charbroiled Chopped Steak with Mushrooms, Gravy & Rice- Was very good this time around. They followed my instructions about no mushrooms and my two sides, and made sure I got the gravy I asked for. The meat is always tender and moist, and the rice tastes great,near skillet cook taste. Love buying food from here because its very homey and has good portion size. Thank you black eyed pea! Wishing you all the best, the days may be slow but the service is great! Keep it up! 🫶🫶<3

Mashed potatoes were dry and brown in color. Squash casserole was bland. Dressing was bland and they didn't not send cranberry sauce. Sweet potatoes was not sweet and they were bland, broccoli rice had no flavor. Everything was terrible.

Y'all let me tell you how freaking delicious the food was that I ordered last night! By far the most tender and delicious chicken fried steak that I have ever had, the gravy was decadent and delicious. The fried corn was also fantastic. Haven't eaten the salad yet, but I'm sure if it meets the par of the rest of the food I got it will be good toogreat job Black Eyed Peas. You do your mama proud.
