First time with Door Dash and Black River Barn. Both were A+. I got the Half Rack of Ribs and a Dozen Steamers. There were plenty of both. The steamers were in a sauce that was delicious and they were cooked perfect. The ribs were fall of the bone tender and the BBQ sauce was OUTSTANDING!
My wife got the calamari and the Chicken Parm. Plenty of Calamari for both of us and cooked just right. The chicken parm was PLENTY and very tender. Soup to Nuts this was a great meal and the whole experience was excellent.

Very disappointed at the decline in the quality of food. I ordered the Country Mac&Chz and for $14 was given an incredibly small portion of watery and bland mac & cheese. I also ordered the Penne that was bland to the point of almost being tasteless, though the portion size was much better. Not sure what happened to this place, but I can't foresee it being around much longer if they continue to serve low quality and poorly prepared food.

This is the veggie pasta. I was so looking forward to penne with seasonal veggies like green zucchini, yellow squash, broccoli, red and green peppers and mushrooms. Instead this was loaded with carrots, onions and celery. A scant amount of green and red peppers and something white and flavorless that I couldn't even identify. And one lonely, tiny piece of broccoli. The sauce tasted oddly like soup stock and with the selection of veggies it might have made a better soup than a pasta dish. It looks and tastes extremely unappetizing. I removed the penne and added some red sauce i had at home as not to waste the entire meal since it cost 18.99. Way too high for what i was served. The only reason im not giving 0 stars is because my eggplant rollatini wasnt horrible, wasnt great either. Not the level of quality I was expecting from Black River Barn.

Their French Dip Sandwich is one of the best I've ever had and that's my go to favorite at most restaurants. I had it delivered but they forgot my fries and au jus so, not really a French Dip. However, even without the au jus, it was still absolutely delicious!! If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend it.

The food is consistently great.The Steak Bowl was savory and lightly spicy and the Carrot Cake is a favorite of mine. I think this was my 5th slice in the past year. 😂
