• 25/8/26This place is incredible - inexpensive for Seattle, flavorful no matter what you get. In addition to being excellent at cooking jerk chicken (get the West Indies Plate), I think the chefs here really excel at finding flavorful food combinations above anything else. My partner usually gets the West Indies Sandwich but got the Trini Po' Boy this time, which is a different flavor combo entirely, and they really did make it great. (The West Indies Sandwich is still his favorite, but he was happy to eat this - and he can be picky!) The only thing is, they removed Maduros from the menu on DoorDash and it is devastating!! I always order Maduros as a way to end my meals here - they are sweet, crispy without losing their juicy-ness or flavor. Please bring them back!!

• 3/1/25Holy cow, every single thing was so fresh and delicious. The Gumbo has the perfect amount of spice and flavor. The Desi Plate was the best thing I've ever eaten, the jalapenos add a great kick. The portions are huge, and everything is so filling. We already can't wait to order again. :)

• 22/10/24Can finally door dash order my favorite po boy and yuca fries from Bongos - incredibly happy and grateful, arrived warm and with crisp bread, with such a generous amount of deliscious shrimp. Thank you Bongos!!!

• 3/3/26I cannot get enough of the Yuca Fries, especially the dipping sauce it comes with! And the Hummingbird Cake is truly delicious, the slice is huge! I highly recommend. Oh, and get the Maduros, the one that comes with the Desi Plate isn't enough for me lol
