The food is good it's just not worth the price for the portion. These 2 Hot Chicken Sliders were $15. My carrot cake came sloppy and it looked like it was put in a container meant for a different dessert because it had strawberries at the bottoms. Very unappealing. The portion was also small for $14.

I love Bookers. Ive been dining here since they opened years back and recently went back for brunch with the girls. The peach cobbler French Toast is so delicious and the grits are made to perfection. Everytime I've been, Ive never had a complaint. The portions are just right. The customer service is phenomenal. The staff is very professional but also down to earth, warm and welcoming. I love that manager is very present, that has been consistent since they've opened as well.

The fried Buffalo Cauliflower was terrible. The cauliflower was hard to bite into it was so undercooked and all the outside breading was soggy. I had to recook it at home not to mention the buffalo was extremely too spicy. Usually I'm a fan of spicy food but this was unbearable. The Homemade Bread Pudding is always amazing with such a great portion.

The food is delicious and flavorful (not salty), which is a big difference. My last order of oxtails, rice, and cabbage was the absolute best, not to mention the top notch presentation of the food when delivered.

The Deviled Eggs were small and didn't have much taste, they were kinda watery. And the cake was tiny for the price. Won't order either again.
