• 9/3/25The Chopped BBQ Sandwich was very good, of course. The green beans were tasty, but a bit overcooked. The Shrimp - Small were tasty, but there were literally only nine of them. I know it's a small order, but for $14.25?? Should have been twice as many.

• 16/5/24I can't remember if I've already done a review here, but tonight's dinner was so good I just have to say so. The 2pc Hamburger Stk is always good, tasty, filling, and makes me think of my late mother-in-law (hers was better, but this still tastes like home ;-) ). My husband & I split that, along with the Brunswick stew, also excellent. But the standout tonight was the Banana Pudding . Not overly sweet, but rich with a lot of vanilla. It was a perfect complement to the dinner.

• 22/7/23Whenever you got one of their chicken meals, you are getting awesome chicken. Best tasting fry and chicken that I've found in NC. The Brunswick stew is a must try, OMG YUM. Their Baked Beans are on the sweet side, but still tasty, but pair them with some green beans or cabbage to cut down on the sweet. The Saturday Special Turkey Wings, one wing is enough for one person, they also lay it on a bed of rice and smother everything in brown gravy. Turkey was very tender and flavorful. full of juice and perfect color. Best.

• 25/10/24Corn bread sucked !!taste like they need to change their oil . Wings are way to small . And to chucky. Not worth the price . Lost my business

• 7/4/25The veggies were very much on point - delicious, as usual. They were out of the pot roast, but subbed the turkey. Didn't really enjoy the herbs in the stuffing, but then I usually do prefer my own. The thing that brought the stars down was the Brunswick Stew; I think they used vinegar instead of stock, and there was little to no meat in it this time. We've had it before, and it was quite nice, but not so much today.
