Me and my daughter absolutely love these calzones. The breading can tend to be a little dry so if you are lucky enough to receive the described side of marinara it would make the calzone a 5 star. Please start adding the side of marinara.

This isn't a new restaurant like they make it sound. it's Umbria Pizza. The Calzones were okay. They say they come with a side of marinara, but they put it inside both of them. The Williamsburg Calzone didn't have any garlic flavor whatsoever on the inside, just the garlic butter on the top. Flavor wise, the Red Hook Calzone was okay. For $20ea, there are much better calzones But, we gave them a try. Maybe you will like them more.

Ordered the Coney Island Calzone - did not receive the side of marinara as they describe on the menu. There were spots not cooked through. The dough was also thin and the filling broke through a few spots. Probably because the filling was all piled in one spot, not distributed throughout the calzone. Most bites were just dough because of that.

the Williamsburg Calzone and the Prospect Park Calzone are always delicious. the Chicken Wings were also great.
