Considering that I placed my order well after the dinner hour, you can imagine my surprise when my order arrived perfectly fresh AND piping hot off the grill. Burger King always delivers a fresh and nicely warm meal, as you would expect with take-out or delivery. But tonight they earned a double WOW! from me.
I ordered Burger King's Original Chicken Sandwich which is served on a beautiful fresh oblong roll. The patty is lightly breaded and the chicken hot, tender, and juicy within. I ordered it dressed with Mayo, tomato slices, pickles, and onion rings. There are other toppings you can add, but that is all I wanted.
There is also an option to have this sandwich cut in half. You may want to click that box as the sandwich is longer than a burger and cutting it half makes it easier to eat.
Right now Burger King is offering a 2 for 1 Deal on this sandwich, so hurry in and take advantage of this generous offer before it is too late.
As I am hopelessly addicted to Burger King's Onion Rings, I ordered them as I always do. When it comes to Onion Rings Burger King has all other restaurants beat. Theirs are nicely breaded, never greasy, and the perfect size to pop in your mouth. Best of all the breading never falls off. They always arrive warm, but tonight they arrived piping hot and oh so delicious!
You know how you look at the photos on the menu and the food always looks picture perfect, plump, juicy, and plentiful? Then it arrives and you're disappointed because the food in front of you looks nothing like the food you ordered. Happily that is not the case with Burger King, and that is one of the reasons I prefer to order their food over any other restaurant. I can order with confidence knowing exactly what I am going to receive.
I have ordered the Original Chicken Sandwich many times, and the Onion Rings every time I place an order, and I am never disappointed. Both items always look exactly as the photos representing them, and the taste never disappoints---
they are consistently delicious.
I also ordered their warm and delicious Cinnamon Apple Pie, but tonight they were out of them. That is understandable considering I ordered so late in the evening. Next time I'll order two to make up for it.

I've ordered these items before and it has become my favorite Burger King meal. The Chicken is lightly breaded, and hot and juicy inside. The roll holds up throughout consumption of the sandwich, whereas similar sandwiches from other restaurants fall apart after 1 or 2 bites. Burger King's ingredients are always fresh, the choices of which appropriately enhance the sandwich.
The things I love most about Burger King's Onion Rings are: they are always warm, slightly salty, and delicious. The breading never falls off before or while you are eating them. And they are a perfect size to pop in your mouth and enjoy.
My favorite Fast Food Dessert without a doubt is Burger King's warm and delicious, handheld, baked Apple Pie. The outer crust is light and flaky, and slightly sugared---just enough to know the sugar is there, but not too much to overwhelm the experience. While waiting inside are the yummy warm apples. If you haven't tried Burger King's handheld Apple Pies yet you absolutely must!

The Rodeo Burger was fresh and perfectly prepared. It arrived warm and tasted delicious with just the right amount of BBQ Sauce. It was the perfect size burger for me, but anyone with a hearty appetite would probably want to select a larger burger, or multiples of the Rodeo
Burger.
The Onion Rings also arrived fresh and warm. Burger King's Onion Rings are my favorite by far---just the right amount of crispiness on the outside, and tenderness on the inside.
The Apple Pie tasted as though it was fresh and warm and just out of my kitchen oven. It also arrived nicely warm and addictively delicious. I ordered one, but after the first bite I wished I had ordered two.
Lastly, I ordered a bottle of Simply Orange juice, which I love as it is always fresh and thirst quenching. I planned to save it for breakfast in the morning...but I can't promise I won't drink it long before then.

Burger King what happened to you???
I've been singing your praises for weeks and tonight you let me down. I ordered three simple items and two out of three were complete fails.
I have been craving an Iced Mocha Coffee all day. Now to be fair, I wasn't expecting a Starbuck's Frappuccino level drink. But I was expecting better than what I received.
I ordered a large Iced Mocha. If the drink I received was a large, I would hate to see your regular sized drink--it must be a two sips and your done affair. But after one sip of the drink I received I was sorry I ordered it at all. There was too little ice to call this drink an iced anything---it was barely even cold. The coffee flavor was "knock your socks off strong, and I do mean s-t-r-o-n-g with no mocha flavor whatsoever, and bitter as can be.
As I wasn't eating at home I could not simply sweeten the drink or add the proper amount of ice to it. I was stuck with no fix available to me. If you are not sweetening the coffee drinks and not giving DoorDash Customers the option to request it sweetened when ordering, you should at the very least include a Splenda or sugar pkt in the bag with every iced drink order...and probably the hot coffee drinks as well.
As I couldn't drink it, down the drain it went. Fail #1.
I love Burger King's Onion Rings. They are perfectly battered, cooked to perfection, and just the right size to pop in your mouth. And that is exactly what I did as soon as my order arrived. I reached into the bag, grabbed a warm onion ring and popped it right into my mouth, and oh my goodness did I get a surprise! I can safely say that Burger King has at least one employee "not worth his salt" because the amount of salt on my onion rings made my eyes water and I couldn't spit it out fast enough. I looked the remaining onion rings over closely and took a tentative lick of two and it seemed they were all overly salted. Now I love my food salted, but this was way too much salt even for me. Fail #2.

Lastly came the Original Chicken Sandwich. I removed the top of the bun and examined it very closely, because things were not going too well tonight. I removed the onion rings because I wasn't putting those salty devils in my mouth again. The tomato looked good. The chicken was nicely battered, and seemed to be nicely cooked. I reassembled the sandwich and found it to be warm, juicy, and perfectly delicious. Whew! I was truly afraid I wouldn't have any dinner at all tonight, but the Original Chicken Sandwich rescued me from that fate.
Burger King I may be back, but not anytime soon. I don't enjoy throwing my hard earned money away, and considering the total of my order tonight, to only have 1/3 of it fit for consumption is disgraceful.
And to be fair tonight's fails never should have happened. I certainly don't enjoy writing reviews like this one.

I sent a Double Whopper with Jalapeño Cheddar Bites to my boyfriend for a birthday treat and he LOVED it! He said the flavors were consistent like he remembered having BK as a kid. The bites were cheesey and tastey. The food got to him hot and good.
