I love their fish! The 3 Piece Batter Dipped Fish Meal always arrives crispy and hot, and I appreciate how large these fish tendies are. I always get bored of other fast food sides, but Captain D's always has you covered with green beans, okra, or even a baked potato. I only wish we could order extra sauces a la cart rather than being limited to 3 total, that's my only complaint and that's solely due to DoorDash's limitations.

the food all together was horrible unfortunately. the hushpuppies were hard grease balls basically, the fish was overcooked and the coleslaw tasted sour. only good thing was the Mac n cheese and chocolate cake. want good seafood spend the extra little money and good somewhere else for sure. a.j seafood is usually on point.

The portion size for the Fried Okra is absurdly small for a $5 side item.

the deluxe Deluxe Seafood Platter was good.. the Mac and cheese was awful , absolutely terrible. the tarter sauce was not very good. the Funnel Cake Stix were out of this world.. delicious

I ordered the 4 pc fish dinner with Cole slaw and fried okra. The fish was definitely not the quality I'm used to. I couldn't finish the okra because it was over-fried and hard. The hush puppies were heavy hard lumps. I got one packet of malt vinegar for 4 pieces of fish. They must have put the rest in the slaw, it was slimy with a sharp vinegary bite. Inedible. It would seem quality control has gone out the window.
