Chaat Corner is one of the oldest Indian and Pakistani restaurant in San Francisco's South Beach / SOMA area serving authentic street-food style chaats, biryanis, wraps, and vegetarian & vegan options…
I ordered Aloo Paratha (Potato) and Chana Saag (Vegan). The paratha is ample filling and is probably the best in the city. The Chana is well balanced and flavorful. I like that it is not loaded with cream and oil.
I actually requested the restaurant to send me chana masala instead of the Chana saag. And they kindly sent me both!
PS: the restaurant should consider adding their chhole (chana masala) to their menu! It's delicious too !

Lamb kebab, $15 for 5 pieces translates to 1 kebab cut into a few pieces. Any type of chat dishes will be premade in containers so it will be soggy.

Got the Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lassi. Not from around here, but will may get again if ever revisiting the city.
-Mango Lassi is served in a 16 oz cup, they make it and it isn't store bought preserved.
-Garlic Naan is served in two half slices
-Butter Chicken is served in a soup container, does not come with rice, which I thought was a little weird.

Easily the best thing on the menu. Have been ordering for years now and they've never missed on this item specifically. It's good, fresh, and they give large portions for a good price.

I've been looking for really good Indian food in the city and now I feel like I've found the place. Pani Puri (8) was divine. Idli (2pcs), especially with the tomato chutney & sambar, was superb! Sweet or Salty Lassi made me feel like I was back in India during the summer. Loved it!
